artist bio

A native of Dallas, Sharon graduated from the Arts Magnet High School and attended the University of North Texas, School of Visual Arts studying design and adverising journalism. She has continued to make art the major focus of her life and career. Her paintings have been exhibited and sold at many juried art festivals and group shows in the Dallas area. These include the annual Cottonwood Art Festival and the Jewish Arts Festival. She is an exhibiting member of both the Dallas Center for Contemporary Arts and the McKinney Arts Conservatory.
Now living on South Padre Island her new surroundings are perfect subject matter. Surf art, seascapes, sunrises, sunsets, marine life and local and migratory birds all now play a primary role in her paintings.
